EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks to the importance of offering funeral prayer for those who have passed away. It is narrated on the authority of 'Abdullah that he abandoned offering funeral prayer for them, which implies that it is a necessary part of honoring and respecting those who have died. Offering this prayer helps to remember and honor their life, as well as provide comfort to their family and friends. It also serves as an opportunity to reflect on our own mortality and how we should live our lives in light of this knowledge. Furthermore, it can be seen as a way to show gratitude towards Allah for all He has given us in life, including our loved ones who are no longer with us physically but remain in our hearts forever.
