Loving to Meet Allah

SUMMARY: Allah loves those who love to meet Him, and abhors those who do not.

Ubida b. Samit reported Allah's Messenger as saying: He who loves to meet Allah, Allah also loves to meet him, and he who dislikes to meet Allah, Allah also abhors to meet him.

QUICK LESSONS:
Love & Strive For Closeness With Your Creator

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of the importance of loving to meet with Allah. It is a reminder that we should strive to be in a state where we are looking forward to meeting with our Creator, as He will also be looking forward to meeting us if we do so. The hadith also implies that if one does not have this desire, then they will not be met with love by their Lord either. This is an important reminder for all believers, as it encourages them to strive for closeness and connection with their Creator through acts of worship and obedience. It is also a warning against neglecting one's relationship with God, as this can lead one away from His mercy and grace.
