Torment of Hell-Fire and Grave

SUMMARY: The hadith speaks of the torment of Hell-Fire and the torment of grave.

This hadith has been reported on the authority of Mis'ar with the same chain of transmitters but with this variation that the hadith transmitted on the authority of Ibn Bishr and Waki', the torment of the Hell-Fire and the torment of grave have been mentioned together.
حَدَّثَنَاهُ أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ بِشْرٍ، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ غَيْرَ أَنَّ فِي، حَدِيثِهِ عَنِ ابْنِ بِشْرٍ وَوَكِيعٍ جَمِيعًا ‏ "‏ مِنْ عَذَابٍ فِي النَّارِ وَعَذَابٍ فِي الْقَبْرِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about two types of punishments that are mentioned in Islam. The first is the punishment in the afterlife, which is known as Al-`Adhab or punishment. This punishment is for those who have committed sins and wrongdoings in their life on earth. The second type of punishment is known as Al-Nar or hellfire, which will be experienced by those who have not repented for their sins and wrongdoings before death. Finally, there is also a third type of punishment known as Al Qabr or tomb, which will be experienced by those who die without repenting for their sins and wrongdoings. All three punishments are severe and should be avoided at all costs by leading a righteous life on earth according to Islamic teachings.
