Protecting Oneself from Hell Through Burial

SUMMARY: A woman came to the Prophet and told him that she had buried three of her children. The Prophet praised her for protecting herself from the punishment of Hell by burying them.

Abu Huraira reported that a woman came to Allah's Apostle with her child and said: Allah's Apostle, invoke Allah's blessing upon him for I have already buried three. He said: You have buried three! She said: Yes. Thereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said: You have, indeed, safeguarded yourself against the torment of Hell with a strong safeguard'.Umar has made a mention of his father, whereas others have not made a mention of his father.

QUICK LESSONS:
Take care of your deceased loved ones and bury them properly

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about a woman who came to the Prophet with her child and told him that she had already buried three of her children. The Prophet was surprised at this, but then praised her for protecting herself against the punishment of Hell by burying them. This teaches us that it is important to take care of our deceased loved ones and bury them properly, as it can be a form of protection against punishment in the afterlife. It also shows us how merciful and compassionate Allah is, as He rewards those who take care of their deceased family members even if they are not able to do much else for them. Additionally, this hadith reminds us that we should always strive to do good deeds in order to protect ourselves from any potential punishments in the hereafter.
