Sahih Muslim 2596a (Book 45, Hadith 104) #13682
Cursing and its Consequences

SUMMARY: The hadith is about a slave-girl who cursed her dromedary when it did not move, and the Prophet ﷺ told her that the dromedary should not proceed with them.

Abu Burza al-Aslami reported that a slave-girl was riding a dromedary and there was also the luggage of people upon it. that she suddenly saw Allah's Apostle . The way of the mountain was narrow and she said (to that dromedary): Go ahead (but that dromedary did not move). She (that slave-girl), out of anger, said: O Allah, let that (dromedary) be damned. Thereupon Allah's Apostle said: Let the dromedary on which the curse has been invoked not proceed with us.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about a slave girl who was riding on a dromedary with luggage of people on it. When the way became narrow, she asked the dromedary to go ahead but it did not move. Out of anger, she cursed it and Allah's Apostle said that the dromedary should not proceed with them. We must also remember to be patient in difficult situations instead of getting angry or frustrated as this can lead to negative outcomes. Furthermore, we must always respect those around us regardless of their social status or position in society as everyone deserves respect and kindness from one another.
