QUICK LESSONS:
Obey the commands of Allah
EXPLANATIONS:
In this hadith, the Prophet Muhammad is seen praying to Allah asking Him to punish those who disobey Him and His Messenger. He specifically mentions three tribes - Lihyan, Dhakwan, and Usayyah - who have disobeyed Allah's commands and asks that they be cursed by God. On the other hand, he also prays for two other tribes - Ghifar and Aslam - asking that they be pardoned by God as well as granted safety from any harm or danger. This hadith teaches us that we should always obey the commands of Allah in order to receive His mercy; however if we do not follow them then we will face divine retribution from God Himself. It also shows us how important it is for us to pray regularly so that our prayers can reach out directly to God Himself in order for us receive His blessings or punishment depending on our actions.
