Giving Pledge of Allegiance to the Prophet (ﷺ)

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) accepted the pledge of allegiance from Jarir bin 'Abdullah to pray perfectly, give Zakat and give good advice to every Muslim.

Narrated Jarir bin 'Abdullah: I gave the pledge of allegiance to the Prophet for offering prayer perfectly, giving Zakat, and giving good advice to every Muslim.
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، عَنْ قَيْسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ جَرِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بَايَعْتُ النَّبِيَّ عَلَى إِقَامِ الصَّلاَةِ، وَإِيتَاءِ الزَّكَاةِ، وَالنُّصْحِ لِكُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about giving a pledge of allegiance to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It was narrated by Jarir bin 'Abdullah who gave his pledge for offering prayer perfectly, giving Zakat and giving good advice to every Muslim. Prayer is an important part of Islam which must be done five times a day in order for one's faith in Allah SWT to be complete. Zakat is also an important part of Islam as it helps those who are less fortunate than us and gives us blessings from Allah SWT. Lastly, it is important for Muslims to give good advice or nasihah as this will help others become better Muslims and help them stay on the right path towards Allah SWT.
