EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith emphasizes the importance of truthfulness and honesty in our lives. It is narrated by Yunus and teaches us that we should always be honest in our words and actions. Being truthful means to speak the truth even when it may not be convenient or easy to do so. It also means to act with integrity and sincerity in all aspects of life. We should strive to be honest with ourselves as well as with others, for only then can we truly live a life of virtue and righteousness.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said “Truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise” [Sahih Muslim]. This hadith reminds us that if we are truthful in our words and deeds then Allah will reward us for it on the Day of Judgment. We must remember that lying is a major sin which can lead us astray from the path of righteousness if done too often or without repentance afterwards. Therefore, it is important for us to practice truthfulness at all times so that we may attain success both in this world as well as in the hereafter.
