Meeting at the Haud Kauthar

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) promised to meet his followers at the Haud Kauthar.

'Amir b. Sa'd b. Abu Waqqas reported: I wrote (a letter) to Jabir b. Samura (and it was sent) through my servant Nafi' asking him to inform me about something (pertaining to the Haud Kauthar). He wrote to me: I heard him (the Holy Prophet) say: I shall be there ahead of you at the Haud Kauthar.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about a promise made by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It was narrated by 'Amir b. Sa'd b. Abu Waqqas who wrote a letter to Jabir b. Samura through his servant Nafi'. In the letter he asked for information about something related to the Haud Kauthar and in response he received a message from Jabir that he heard Prophet Muhammad say that he will be there ahead of them at the Haud Kauthar. This hadith teaches us that we should have faith in Allah's promises and trust in His words as He will always fulfill them no matter what happens or how long it takes for it to happen because He is All Knowing and All Powerful and nothing is impossible for Him. We should also strive to keep our promises just like how Prophet Muhammad kept his promise of meeting his followers at the Haud Kauthar even though it was not possible for him physically due to his passing away before they reached there but Allah made it possible through His power and grace so that His beloved prophet could keep his word which shows us how important keeping our promises are in Islam as well as other religions too!
