Unknown Incantator

SUMMARY: A person who was unknown to the people present at the time was able to recite incantations.

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Hisham with the same chain of transmitters and he said: There stood up with her a person amongst us whom we did not know before as an incantator.
وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ ‏.‏ نَحْوَهُ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ فَقَامَ مَعَهَا رَجُلٌ مِنَّا مَا كُنَّا نَأْبِنُهُ بِرُقْيَةٍ
