EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith warns Muslims against entering the houses of others without permission, as well as meeting women in seclusion. It emphasizes that it is not permissible to enter someone else’s house without their permission, even if it is a relative such as a husband’s brother. The Prophet Muhammad likened this to death, meaning that it should be avoided at all costs. This hadith teaches us to respect other people’s privacy and not intrude on them without their consent or knowledge. It also reminds us to be mindful of our interactions with members of the opposite gender so we can protect ourselves from any potential harm or sinning.
