The Forbidden Dye

SUMMARY: Allah's Messenger forbade wearing clothes dyed in saffron.

Anas reported that Allah's Messenger forbade that a person should (wear) clothes dyed in saffron.
وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَعَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ، وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، وَابْنُ، نُمَيْرٍ وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ - عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ أَنْ يَتَزَعْفَرَ الرَّجُلُ
