The Sin of Pride

SUMMARY: Pride is a sin and Allah will not look upon those who are proud on the Day of Resurrection.

Ibn 'Umar reported Allah's Messenger having said: He who trailed his garment out of pride, Allah would not look toward him on the Day of Resurrection.
وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا حَنْظَلَةُ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَالِمًا، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ "‏ مَنْ جَرَّ ثَوْبَهُ مِنَ الْخُيَلاَءِ لَمْ يَنْظُرِ اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ
