QUICK LESSONS:
Be generous & hospitable towards others
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of the importance of hospitality and generosity, as demonstrated by a woman who served dates to the Prophet Muhammad in a big bowl of stone. It is narrated that when Allah's Messenger took his food, she drenched the dates and served them especially for him. This shows us that we should always be generous and hospitable towards others, especially those who are less fortunate than us. We should also strive to make sure that everyone has enough food and resources so they can live comfortably. Furthermore, this hadith teaches us about gratitude; even though it was just a small gesture from this woman, it was still appreciated by Allah's Messenger which goes to show how much he valued her kindness and generosity.
