EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith explains the origin of wine. It was narrated by two companions of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH): Abu Huraira and Abu Kuraib. They reported that Allah's Messenger said that wine comes from vine and date-palms. This means that wine is derived from these two plants which are known as uqdah in Arabic and tamar in English respectively. The hadith also teaches us to be mindful about our consumption of alcohol as it can have a negative impact on our health if consumed excessively or irresponsibly.
