EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks to the importance of sacrificing an animal during the Islamic holiday, Eid Al Adha. It is reported that Prophet Muhammad offered a prayer and then delivered a sermon in which he commanded those who had already slaughtered their animals before prayer to do so again as a sacrifice. This act is known as Dhabh, and it serves as a reminder of Prophet Ibrahim's willingness to sacrifice his son Ismail for Allah's sake. By performing this act, Muslims are reminded to be willing to make sacrifices for Allah and His cause. Furthermore, it serves as an opportunity for Muslims to share their blessings with others by distributing the meat among family members, friends, and those in need. Thus, this hadith emphasizes the significance of sacrificing animals during Eid Al Adha and encourages Muslims to be generous with their blessings by sharing them with others in need.
