SUMMARY: It is not permissible to enter the household at night.

Another version of the tradition narrated on the same authority worded slightly differently. It says: (He) would not enter (upon his household at night).

QUICK LESSONS:
Respect others and their property by refraining from entering someone's home late at night.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that it is not permissible to enter a household at night. This could be for various reasons, such as respecting the privacy of those living in the house or avoiding any potential harm that may come from entering a dark and unfamiliar place. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was known for his exemplary character and this hadith serves as an example of how we should conduct ourselves in our daily lives. We should always strive to be respectful of others and their property, even if it means refraining from entering someone's home late at night.
