Sahih Muslim 1891b (Book 33, Hadith 192) #12002
Repentance of a Believer Who Kills a Disbeliever

SUMMARY: A believer who kills a disbeliever and then repents will not be punished in the same way as the disbeliever.

It has been narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah said: No two such persons shall be together in Hell as if one of them is such that his presence hurts the other. It was asked: Messenger of Allah, who are they? He said: A believer who killed a disbeliever and (then) kept to the right path".

QUICK LESSONS:
Seek forgiveness from Allah for your sins; Strive to stay on the right path even if you make mistakes or do wrong things; Return to righteousness after committing sin; Believe in Allah's mercy and forgiveness; Show mercy towards others even when faced with disbelief.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about how believers should act when they are faced with disbelief. It teaches us that if a believer kills an unbeliever, but then repents and returns to the right path, they will not be punished in the same way as the unbeliever. This is because Allah is merciful and forgiving, and He rewards those who repent for their sins. The hadith also reminds us that we should strive to stay on the right path even if we make mistakes or do wrong things. We should always seek forgiveness from Allah for our sins so that He can forgive us and grant us His mercy.
