The Value of Truthfulness

SUMMARY: This hadith is about the importance of being truthful and honest.

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Yunus with the same chain of transmitters.
وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said “Truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise” [Sahih Bukhari]. This hadith reminds us that if we are truthful in all aspects of our lives then Allah SWT will reward us with His mercy on the Day of Judgment.
