Learning & Teaching Quran

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught that the best people are those who learn and teach the Quran.

Abu 'Imran narrated this hadith with a slight change of wording.
وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ كَمَا قَالَ ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ عَبْدًا مُجَدَّعَ الأَطْرَافِ

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught that learning and teaching the Quran is a great virtue. He encouraged people to not only learn it but also to share their knowledge with others by teaching them what they have learned. This hadith emphasizes how important it is for us to understand and spread its teachings in order for us to become better Muslims. It also encourages us to strive towards becoming knowledgeable about our religion so that we can help others in understanding it as well.
