Injury in a Cave

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was in a cave when his finger was injured.

It has been narrated on the authority of Aswad b. Qais who said: The Messenger of Allah was in a cave (or raid) when his finger was hurt.
وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، جَمِيعًا عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ وَقَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ فِي غَارٍ فَنُكِبَتْ إِصْبَعُهُ

This hadith is about the time when the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was in a cave and his finger got hurt. It is narrated by Aswad b. Qais, who reported that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) was in a cave or raid when his finger got injured. This hadith teaches us to be careful and mindful of our surroundings, even if we are alone or with few people, as accidents can happen anytime and anywhere. We should also remember that no matter how small an injury may be, it still needs to be taken care of properly so it does not get worse over time.
