QUICK LESSONS:
Keep ones'hands at sides or in front of them with palms facing up towards the sky while praying .
EXPLANATIONS:
According to a hadith narrated by Abu Huraira from the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, it is forbidden to keep one's hands on their hips during prayer. This means that when praying salat or namaz, one should not place their hands on their hips as this is considered disrespectful and inappropriate. Instead of keeping your hands on your hips while praying, it is better to keep them at your sides or in front of you with palms facing up towards the sky. This shows humility and respect for Allah SWT and His commands. Additionally, keeping one's hands off their hips also helps maintain focus and concentration during prayer as it prevents any distractions from occurring due to fidgeting or moving around too much.
