Resolving Disputes with Justice

SUMMARY: Two women fought and the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) gave a judgement to resolve the dispute.

Abu Huraira reported that two women fought-the rest of the hadith is the same but herein no mention has been made of: He made her son and those who were with them her heirs. Someone said: Why should we pay blood-wit? And he did not name Hamal b. Malik.

QUICK LESSONS:
Seek justice , Look at all facts objectively before making any decisions .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about two women who were in a conflict and the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was asked to judge between them. He gave a judgement that was fair and just for both parties. The Prophet ﷺ taught us that when we are faced with disputes or conflicts, we should seek justice and fairness in our resolution. We should not take sides or be biased towards one party over another but instead look at all facts objectively before making any decisions. This hadith also teaches us that even if someone is wronged or hurt by another person, they should still seek justice rather than revenge or retaliation as this will only lead to more harm and suffering for everyone involved.
