EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the mercy and forgiveness that was shown by Allah's Messenger (PBUH). Eight people from the tribe of Ukl came to him with wounds inflicted upon them while punishing them. However, instead of cauterising their wounds as was customary at that time, he chose to show mercy and forgive them instead. This hadith teaches us that we should always strive for forgiveness and mercy in our lives rather than resorting to punishment or revenge. It also shows us how important it is for us to be kind and forgiving towards others even when they have wronged us in some way. We should always remember that Allah is Most Merciful and He will reward those who show kindness towards others despite any wrongdoings they may have committed against them.
