EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about interpreting an oath. An oath is a promise or statement made by someone that they will do something or that something is true. According to this hadith, when someone makes an oath and it needs to be interpreted, the intention of the person who took the oath should be taken into consideration. This means that if someone makes a promise but their intentions are not clear then we should try to understand what they meant by looking at their intentions and context in which they made the promise. This teaches us to always think carefully before making promises and also to try our best to understand what others mean when they make promises so that we can interpret them correctly.
