QUICK LESSONS:
Treating one's parents with respect and kindness
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that we should show respect and kindness to our parents, especially our mothers. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said that when someone asks who they should treat well, his answer was always “your mother” three times in a row before mentioning anyone else! This shows us how important it is for us to take care of our parents and show them love and appreciation for all they do for us. We must remember that Allah has commanded us to be kind to our parents in the Quran as well, so this hadith serves as a reminder of this important teaching from Islam.
