EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of not being a witness to an injustice or oppression. It was narrated by Nu'man b. Bashir who reported that Allah's Messenger said to his father, "Call me not as witness to an injustice." This hadith teaches us that we should never be complicit in any form of oppression or injustice and should always strive for justice and fairness in all our dealings with others. We must also ensure that we do not become witnesses to any kind of wrongdoing or unfairness even if it means standing up against those close to us such as family members or friends. The Prophet Muhammad was so committed to justice and fairness that he even refused his own father when he asked him to bear witness for something unjust! This hadith serves as a reminder for us all that we must always stand up for what is right no matter the cost and never compromise on justice and fairness in our lives.
