Prohibitions of the Prophet Muhammad

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) prohibited certain actions.

Abd al-Rabman b. Abu Bakra said: Allah's Messenger prohibited us. The rest of the hadith is the same.
حَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ - عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرَةَ قَالَ نَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ بِمِثْلِهِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the prohibitions that were commanded by the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. It is narrated by Abd al-Rabman b. Abu Bakra who was a companion of the Prophet and heard it directly from him. These prohibitions are commands from Allah that must be followed in order to live a righteous life and gain His pleasure. The hadith teaches us to obey these commands and stay away from what has been prohibited as it will bring us closer to Allah and help us attain His mercy in this world and hereafter.
