Obey God’s commands, Be honest in dealings with others

This hadith is about the warning given by Allah's Messenger to the Jews. He warned them not to use fat, which was forbidden for them, but they sold it and made use of its price. This hadith teaches us that we should always obey God’s commands and not disobey Him in any way. We should also be honest in our dealings with others and not take advantage of their ignorance or lack of knowledge. Furthermore, this hadith reminds us that we should never take something that is prohibited or haram for us as it will lead to destruction in this world and the hereafter.
