Sahih Muslim 1559a (Book 22, Hadith 26) #11111
Entitlement of Seller in Insolvency

SUMMARY: The seller of a property is entitled to get it back if the buyer becomes insolvent.

Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger as saying: He who found his property intact with a person (who bought it but who later on) became insolvent (or a person who became insolvent), he (the seller) is entitled to get it more than anyone else'.

QUICK LESSONS:
Be mindful and careful when selling possessions

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the rights of a seller when it comes to their property. If someone buys a property from them, but then becomes insolvent, the seller has more right to get their property back than anyone else. This teaches us that we should be mindful and careful when selling our possessions, as we may not always be able to get them back if something goes wrong with the buyer. It also teaches us that sellers have certain rights and entitlements which should be respected by all parties involved in any transaction.
