Reward for Emancipating a Slave

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the reward of freeing a slave, which is freedom from Hell for every limb of the slave's body.

Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: He who emancipates a slave, Allah will set free from Hell every limb (of his body) for every limb of his (slave's) body, even his private parts.
وَحَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ رُشَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُطَرِّفٍ أَبِي غَسَّانَ، الْمَدَنِيِّ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ ابْنِ مَرْجَانَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ قَالَ ‏ "‏ مَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً أَعْتَقَ اللَّهُ بِكُلِّ عُضْوٍ مِنْهَا عُضْوًا مِنْ أَعْضَائِهِ مِنَ النَّارِ حَتَّى فَرْجَهُ بِفَرْجِهِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the reward of emancipating a slave. According to this hadith, Allah will free from hell every limb of the person who emancipates a slave for every limb of his/her body, even his/her private parts. This means that if someone frees a slave, Allah will grant them freedom from hell in return. This teaches us that freeing slaves is an act that has great rewards and should be done whenever possible. It also shows us how merciful and generous Allah is towards those who do good deeds and help others in need.
