The Virtue of Generosity

SUMMARY: This hadith is about the importance of being generous and kind to others.

A hadith like this has been narrated on the authority of Hadrat 'Ali (Allah be pleased with him).
وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ، الْكَرِيمِ بْنُ مَالِكٍ الْجَزَرِيُّ أَنَّ مُجَاهِدًا، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ أَبِي لَيْلَى أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ أَمَرَهُ بِمِثْلِهِ
