Truth and Falsehood of Moving Quickly Between Al-Safa and Al-Marwa

SUMMARY: The hadith discusses the truth and falsehood of the belief that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) moved quickly between al-Safa and al-Marwa.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith discusses the truth and falsehood of a belief that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) moved quickly between al-Safa and al-Marwa. This is an important part of Hajj, which is one of the five pillars in Islam. According to this hadith, it is true that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) did move quickly between these two mountains, but it is not necessary for everyone to do so as part of their Hajj rituals. Instead, people can choose to walk or run at their own pace when performing this ritual. The main idea behind this hadith is that people should not blindly follow traditions without understanding why they are doing them in the first place.
