EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad's ritual for performing Hajj and Umra was to walk swiftly in the first three circuits around the House, then walk in four circuits. After that he would observe two rak'ahs of prayer before running between al-Safa and al-Marwa. This is an important ritual for Muslims to perform when they go on pilgrimage to Mecca as it is a way to show their devotion to Allah. It also serves as a reminder that we should strive for excellence in all aspects of our lives. We should strive to do our best even when it comes to small tasks such as praying or running between two points. This hadith teaches us that we should always put forth our best effort no matter what task we are doing so that we can please Allah with our actions.
