This hadith is about how Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to circumambulate the Kaaba during his pilgrimage. He would walk quickly for three circuits, then walk slowly for four circuits, and then run between al-Safa and al-Marwa. This was also done by Ibn Umar who was a companion of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. This hadith teaches us that we should perform our religious duties with enthusiasm as well as respect for its sanctity. It also shows us that we should follow in the footsteps of our beloved Prophet ﷺ when it comes to performing religious rituals such as Hajj or Umrah. We should strive to do our best while performing these rituals so that we can gain maximum reward from Allah SWT.
