Perfume and Talbiya of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his use of perfume while performing Talbiya.

'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported: I still seem to see the glistening of the perfume where the hair parted on Allah's Messenger's head, while he was pronouncing Talbiya.
وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، وَأَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، - رضى الله عنها - قَالَتْ كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى وَبِيصِ الطِّيبِ فِي مَفَارِقِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ وَهُوَ يُلَبِّي‏.‏

This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's use of perfume while performing a ritual known as Talbiya.
