Applying Perfume Before Entering Ihram

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) applied the best perfume he could find before entering into a state of Ihram.

'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported: I applied the best perfume, which I could get, to the Messenger of Allah before entering upon the state of Ihram (and after this) he put on the Ihram.

QUICK LESSONS:
Take care in your preparation and make sure you are properly prepared before beginning any religious act; strive to use the best quality items available when performing religious acts; apply perfume if necessary prior to entering into a state of ihraam but not during Hajj or Umrah itself as these acts must be performed without any adornment or embellishment .

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by 'A'isha tells us that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) applied the best perfume he could find before entering into a state of Ihram. This is an important lesson for Muslims to remember when they are preparing to enter into a state of Ihram for Hajj or Umrah. It teaches us that we should take care in our preparation and make sure we are properly prepared before beginning any religious act. We should also strive to use the best quality items available when performing religious acts as this shows respect and reverence towards Allah and His Messenger. Additionally, it is important to note that although applying perfume is permissible in this situation, it is not allowed during Hajj or Umrah itself as these acts must be performed without any adornment or embellishment.
