Seeking the Night of Power in Ramadan

SUMMARY: The hadith encourages Muslims to seek out the Night of Power (Lailat-ul-Qadr) during the last ten nights of Ramadan.

Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with them) reported Allah's Messenger as saying: He who is anxious to seek it (Lailat-ul-Qadr) should seek it in the last ten (nights of Ramadan).
وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ جَبَلَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، - رضى الله عنهما - يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ أَنَّهُ قَالَ ‏ "‏ مَنْ كَانَ مُلْتَمِسَهَا فَلْيَلْتَمِسْهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الأَوَاخِرِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith encourages Muslims to seek out the Night of Power, or Lailat-ul Qadr, during the last ten nights of Ramadan. The Night of Power is a special night that occurs during Ramadan and is considered to be one of the holiest nights for Muslims. It is believed that on this night, Allah's blessings are abundant and prayers are answered more easily than any other night throughout the year. Therefore, it is important for Muslims to take advantage and make an effort to seek out this special night by engaging in prayer and worshiping Allah as much as possible during these last ten days. Additionally, it teaches us about patience and perseverance since we must wait until these final days before we can find out when exactly this blessed night will occur.
