QUICK LESSONS:
Celebrate by gathering together with family and friends; exchange gifts; wear new clothes; eat special foods; show kindness to others; help those in need; visit relatives who may not have anyone else to celebrate with them.

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, taught us that it is forbidden to fast on the two days of Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Fitr. These are special holidays in Islam where Muslims celebrate by gathering together with family and friends, exchanging gifts, wearing new clothes, and eating special foods. On these days we should focus on being thankful for all that Allah has given us instead of fasting. We should also remember to show kindness to others by helping those in need or visiting our relatives who may not have anyone else to celebrate with them. By following this teaching from the Prophet Muhammad we can ensure that our celebrations are filled with joy and happiness instead of sadness or deprivation.
