QUICK LESSONS:
Observe fasting on 9th day of Ashura .

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith reported by Abdullah b 'Abbas states that the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said that if he were to live until the next year, he would observe fast on the 9th day of Ashura. This is a reminder for Muslims to observe fasting on this day as it is a blessed and important day in Islamic history. It was during this time when Allah saved Musa and his people from Pharaoh's tyranny and oppression. Therefore, fasting on this day is an act of gratitude towards Allah for His mercy and blessings upon us. Additionally, it also serves as a reminder for us to stay away from sins and strive towards righteousness in our lives.
