EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith narrates an incident in which the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ prayed to Allah for rain. He went towards the Musalla, a place of prayer, and faced the Qibla while wearing his cloak inside out. He then offered two rak'at in supplication to Allah. This hadith teaches us that when we are in need of something from Allah, we should turn to Him with sincere prayer and supplication. We should also remember that our prayers must be done with humility and respect; this is why the Prophet ﷺ wore his cloak inside out as a sign of humility before Allah. Furthermore, it is important to always face the direction of prayer when making supplications or offering prayers as this shows our respect towards Him.
