Give charity even if it's only a small amount; Be mindful about how much you are giving away in charity; Be generous with your wealth; Follow the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) .

This hadith explains the minimum amount of charity or zakat that is payable on different items. According to this hadith, no charity or zakat is payable on less than five wasqs of dates or grains, five camel-heads and five uqiyahs of silver. A wasq is a measure for dry goods such as dates and grains while an uqiyah is a measure for silver coins. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us to be generous with our wealth and give charity even if it's only a small amount. He also taught us to be mindful about how much we are giving away in charity so that we don't give too little or too much.
