Give in charity with sincerity expecting reward from Allah

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was known for his generosity and kindness to all people, especially those who gave in charity. He would often bless them with a prayer that Allah would also bless them in return. In this particular hadith, Abdullah b. Abu Aufa recounts how the Prophet Muhammad specifically blessed the posterity of Abu Aufa when he brought him sadaqa or charity. This hadith teaches us that giving in charity is an act of great virtue and should be done with sincerity as it will be rewarded by Allah not only for ourselves but also for our descendants after us. It also shows us how generous and kind the Prophet Muhammad was to all people regardless of their social status or wealth; even if someone could only give a small amount, he still showed them respect and appreciation by blessing them with his prayers.
