Passing Through Religion Cleanly

SUMMARY: The hadith emphasizes the importance of passing through religion cleanly and without any blemish.

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of A'mash with the same chain of transmitters, but (these words) are not there: " They pass through the religion clean as the arrow passes through the prey".
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، كِلاَهُمَا عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ ‏.‏ وَلَيْسَ فِي حَدِيثِهِمَا ‏ "‏ يَمْرُقُونَ مِنَ الدِّينِ كَمَا يَمْرُقُ السَّهْمُ مِنَ الرَّمِيَّةِ
