Perform wudu correctly before praying

This hadith highlights the importance of performing ablutions properly before prayer. It was narrated by Abdullah bin Amr that once Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was travelling with his companions and they were late for their Asr prayer. They were only passing wet hands over their feet instead of washing them properly when Prophet Muhammad ﷺ addressed them in a loud voice saying “Save your heels from the fire” twice or thrice. This shows us that we should take our ablutions seriously as it is an important part of our faith and can save us from punishment in the hereafter. We should make sure to perform wudu correctly every time we pray so that we can be rewarded for our efforts in this life and the next.
