Do good deeds out of love for Allah alone without expecting anything in return from people or society at large; Respect and appreciate those who serve you loyally without expecting anything back from you in return; Be content with your service to Allah and His Messenger instead of seeking worldly rewards or recognition for your deeds

This hadith is about the importance of contentment and service. When Mecca was conquered, the spoils were distributed among the Quraish, which made the Ansar feel slighted as they had fought alongside them but did not receive any spoils. Upon hearing this, Prophet Muhammad gathered them and asked what was going on. They told him what had happened and he responded by saying that it would be better for them to return home with him rather than worldly riches. He also said that if there were a valley or narrow path to tread, he would go first with the Ansar instead of leading from behind. This teaches us that we should be content with our service to Allah and His Messenger instead of seeking worldly rewards or recognition for our deeds; we should strive to do good deeds out of love for Allah alone without expecting anything in return from people or society at large. It also shows us how much respect and appreciation Prophet Muhammad had for his companions who served him faithfully despite not receiving any material reward in return; this is an example we can all follow when dealing with those who serve us loyally without expecting anything back from us in return.
