EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's teachings on jealousy and generosity. He was teaching his companion, Sa'd, not to be jealous when he bestowed gifts upon someone else. The Prophet showed him this lesson by striking between his neck and shoulder with his hand as a reminder that it is wrong to be jealous of others' blessings. He wanted us to understand that we should always show gratitude for what we have been given and not feel envious of what others have been blessed with. We should also strive to give generously without expecting anything in return, as this will bring us closer to Allah's mercy and grace.
