This hadith is about a statement made by the Messenger of Allah (PBUH). It is unclear whether this statement was revealed to him or not. This hadith teaches us that we should be careful when attributing statements to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). We should only attribute statements to him if they are confirmed and authenticated by reliable sources. We should also be aware that some things may have been said by the prophet but were never revealed to him from Allah. Therefore, we must always be sure before attributing any statement or action to the prophet as being divinely inspired and from Allah himself.
