QUICK LESSONS:
Be responsible and trustworthy when dealing with money or any other responsibility given to us by our leaders or society at large.
EXPLANATIONS:
Umar ibn Khattab, the second Caliph of Islam, appointed Ibn al-Sa'di to be the collector of sadaqa. This is an example of how important it is to be responsible and trustworthy in positions that require collecting money from people. It also shows that even though Umar was a leader, he still respected and trusted others enough to give them important roles in society. This hadith teaches us that we should always strive to be honest and reliable when dealing with money or any other responsibility given to us by our leaders or society at large.
