Learning & Teaching the Quran

SUMMARY: The best people are those who learn and teach the Quran.

This hadith has been narrated by Abdullah b. al-Sa'di from 'Umar b. al-Khattab who heard it from the Messenger of Allah .
وَحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ عَمْرٌو وَحَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ، بِمِثْلِ ذَلِكَ عَنِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ السَّعْدِيِّ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ، - رضى الله عنه - عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about learning and teaching the Quran, which is a holy book for Muslims. It was narrated by Abdullah b. al-Sa'di from 'Umar b. al-Khattab who heard it from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). According to this hadith, those who learn and teach the Quran are considered to be among the best people in society as they have knowledge of God's words and can share it with others so that they too can benefit from its teachings. Learning and teaching the Quran requires dedication, patience, hard work, and commitment as one must spend time studying its verses in order to understand them properly before being able to explain them to others accurately. Furthermore, this hadith also teaches us that knowledge should be shared with others so that everyone can benefit from it instead of keeping it only for oneself or a select few individuals in society.
